Designed for security-conscious environments such as schools, police stations, courthouses, government offices, and other public facilities, the Defender Step-In™ provides protective coverage while maintaining a polished, non-intimidating workspace.
The workstation incorporates NIJ Level III bullet-resistant protection within three sides of the unit, providing enhanced protection for personnel working in higher-risk environments. The concealed protective design allows the workstation to function as a professional administrative or security station without making the surrounding environment feel overly fortified.
A spacious 28.25"W × 22"D laminate work surface provides room for laptops, documents, communication equipment, and everyday administrative materials. Below the work surface, locking storage compartments provide a secure location for sensitive documents, equipment, and other essential items, while integrated cable grommets help keep cords organized and out of sight.
Built from premium solid hardwood, the Defender Step-In™ is available in a selection of wood species and can be customized with a department seal, school emblem, courthouse logo, or other institutional branding. Four heavy-duty casters provide convenient mobility, with two locking casters helping stabilize the workstation once it is positioned.

Logo Plaques: Customers must provide a vectorized logo file, such as an AI, EPS, SVG, or vector PDF. The manufacturer will confirm that the logo is of sufficient quality for production. If the image appears grainy or unclear when enlarged, a higher-resolution file may be required. If suitable artwork cannot be provided, our in-house designer can prepare the artwork for $125 per hour. Any design services will be billed separately, if needed.
