The Sound-Craft The Instructor Multimedia Lectern (MMR36) is a functional and elegant multimedia presentation podium designed for university classrooms, corporate training rooms, lecture halls, and professional presentation environments. Developed with the needs of system integrators in mind, The Instructor provides a practical solution for housing audiovisual equipment while maintaining a professional appearance.
The Instructor features a design similar to The Presenter, distinguished by its 3-inch rounded front corners and availability in wood veneer and carpet finishes only. Its traditional styling and customizable configuration make it suitable for educational institutions and corporate facilities that require a versatile lectern for multimedia presentations, training sessions, and classroom instruction.
Designed to accommodate audiovisual equipment, The Instructor provides up to 16 rack units (RU) of equipment space, with convenient access to installed equipment from both the front and rear. This configuration supports organized equipment installation and easier access for system integrators and technical personnel working with compatible presentation systems.
The Instructor comes standard with 3-inch swivel casters, allowing it to be moved conveniently between presentation areas. Its available configurations and optional features help organizations tailor the lectern to their equipment requirements, room layout, and presentation workflow.
The standard listed configuration includes a plain, flat, removable work surface. Customers who require a different work surface or a customized design must select the desired work surface as a separate line item when placing their order. Optional configurations include rear-side and rear-door options, front and side configurations, logo options, inside partitions, cooling fans, height adjustment, and an extension arm LCD monitor side mount.
When selecting pullout accessories, consider the lectern's width and configuration. Sound-Craft lecterns measuring less than 60 inches wide can accommodate only one pullout item on either side. If pullout accessories, such as document camera drawers, are required on both the left and right sides, select the XXL version of the preferred model.
