Description

The AVFI Multimedia Executive Podium with Pocket Doors PDX21 is a versatile multimedia presentation podium designed for distance education, electronic classrooms, corporate training sites, conference rooms, and professional presentation environments. Its spacious executive-style design provides convenient access to presentation equipment, rack-mounted electronics, computers, and connectivity components while maintaining a clean and organized appearance.

The PDX21 features interchangeable flat or wedge top pods with multiple configuration options to accommodate different interface and equipment requirements. Two rear doors with hidden locks provide convenient access to installed equipment from the audience side, while the locking keyboard door adds security for presentation controls and accessories. The podium also includes a dedicated tower PC compartment for integrated computing equipment.

For flexible equipment management, the PDX21 includes an interior 12U 19-inch rack frame with 24.5-inch depth, providing space for rack-mounted AV and technology components. Hide-away locking pocket front doors keep equipment securely enclosed while preserving a streamlined executive appearance. A slide-out side shelf provides additional workspace for presentation accessories or equipment.

The PDX21 is equipped with a quiet 120mm cooling fan to support airflow around installed electronics and heavy-duty casters for convenient mobility. Two casters lock securely in place when the podium is positioned for use. Its Thermowrapped construction is available in a choice of finishes, allowing the podium to coordinate with a variety of professional environments. The unit ships fully assembled for easier installation and deployment.

AVFI Custom Electronics Cutout Service

Installation of electronics in AVFI furniture may require a custom cutout. AVFI charges a one-time $100 custom cut fee per furniture unit, regardless of the number of electronic cutouts required.
