Description

The AVFI High Tech Teaching Multimedia Station EDU-PD is a mobile multimedia teaching station designed for high-tech classrooms, lecture halls, universities, training facilities, and corporate training sites. Its spacious workstation, integrated rack storage, articulating keyboard tray, and flexible configuration options provide a practical platform for instructors and presenters using multiple AV and electronic components.

The EDU-PD features a large 47" W x 24" D highly resistant Thermowrap Surf(x) work surface in black, providing ample room for monitors, laptops, presentation documents, and classroom control equipment. The slide-out articulating keyboard tray includes a mouse pad and provides a comfortable workstation for computer-based teaching and multimedia presentations.

A dedicated 14U equipment compartment measures 20.13" W x 22" D x 25.5" and includes front and rear EIA compliant threaded rack rails for flexible equipment mounting. The compartment features a locking Plexiglass front door and accommodation for a 120mm cooling fan, while a separate rear access door with locking capability provides convenient access to installed equipment.

The EDU-PD can be configured with an optional Removable Console CNLEDU-PD, which includes a removable wedge panel that can be mounted for different device installations. Optional folding side shelves can also expand the available workspace on either side, providing additional room for monitors, documents, and presentation equipment.

Heavy-duty casters, including two locking casters, provide easy mobility between classrooms, lecture halls, and training spaces while allowing the station to remain securely positioned during use. A wide range of optional monitor mounts, power and data panels, cooling, lighting, microphone, storage, wireless charging, removable console, and custom cutout solutions allows the AVFI EDU-PD High Tech Teaching Multimedia Station to be configured for demanding technology-enabled teaching environments.

AVFI Custom Electronics Cutout Service

Installation of electronics in AVFI furniture may require a custom cutout. AVFI charges a one-time $100 custom cut fee per furniture unit, regardless of the number of electronic cutouts required.

• The required cut location(s)
