Description

The AVFI Multimedia Mobile Instructor Station PD51 is a versatile roll-about multimedia podium designed for distance education, electronic classrooms, corporate training sites, conference rooms, and professional presentation environments. Its large work surface and flexible equipment configuration provide an efficient platform for integrating monitors, laptops, presentation controls, and other AV equipment.

The PD51 features a spacious 36.5" W x 30" D customizable work surface that provides ample room for presentation equipment, documents, monitors, and room control systems. A removable console offers exceptional flexibility, allowing the entire work surface to be utilized when the console is removed. The front panel of the console can also be easily removed from a wedge position while maintaining presentation privacy.

For integrated technology, the PD51 includes 14U electronic equipment rack rails with both front and rear sets included. The wide keyboard tray and folding side shelf provide additional workspace for presenters and instructors, while the interior shelf and dedicated PC/storage compartment help organize computers, AV components, and presentation accessories.

The podium provides easy front and rear access with metal ventilation panels and vents throughout the unit to promote airflow around installed equipment. Heavy-duty casters allow the PD51 to be moved easily between classrooms, training facilities, and presentation spaces, with two locking casters providing stability during use.

Built with a highly resistant Thermowrap surface and body finish, the PD51 is designed for frequent use in demanding educational and professional environments. Its configurable design supports a wide range of AV accessories and equipment options, while the assembled construction allows for convenient deployment.

AVFI Custom Electronics Cutout Service

Installation of electronics in AVFI furniture may require a custom cutout. AVFI charges a one-time $100 custom cut fee per furniture unit, regardless of the number of electronic cutouts required.
