Description
The AVFI Teaching Podium with Folding Shelf PD3009 is a compact multimedia podium designed for classrooms, teaching environments, training facilities, conference rooms, and professional presentation spaces. Its smaller footprint maintains full-size presentation and equipment features while providing an organized interior configuration for AV components and computer storage.
The PD3009 features a spacious 34.5" W x 25.5" D work surface that accommodates monitors, laptops, presentation documents, and other presentation equipment. A slide-out molded keyboard tray with integrated mouse pad provides a convenient workstation for computer-based presentations, teaching applications, and interactive content.
The divided interior is designed for efficient equipment organization, with 14U 19" EIA compliant threaded rack rails on the left side and a dedicated PC/storage compartment on the right. The rack configuration provides front and rear access with a 20.12" deep rack space, while the large rear door provides convenient access to installed equipment.
For equipment cooling, the podium includes a quiet 120mm cooling fan. Locking front doors help secure equipment, while the folding side shelf provides additional workspace when needed and can be folded away when not in use. The modern design incorporates aluminum corner accents for a contemporary appearance.
Heavy-duty casters, including two locking casters, make the PD3009 easy to maneuver while allowing it to remain securely positioned during use. Multiple laminate finishes and a range of optional monitor mounts, power solutions, connectivity panels, storage accessories, and custom electronics cutouts allow the podium to be configured for specific presentation and technology requirements.
AVFI Custom Electronics Cutout Service
Installation of electronics in AVFI furniture may require a custom cutout. AVFI charges a one-time $100 custom cut fee per furniture unit, regardless of the number of electronic cutouts required.
