The AVFI ADA Compliant Height Adjustable Instructor Podium PDYZ38 is a versatile height-adjustable presentation podium designed to accommodate users of different heights and mobility needs. Ideal for classrooms, training facilities, lecture halls, corporate environments, and other spaces where accessible and adjustable presentation furniture is required, the PDYZ38 provides a flexible workstation for both seated and standing presentations.
Designed with wheelchair accessibility in mind, the PDYZ38 features a silent lift mechanism that adjusts the work surface from 31.5" to 46". A memory control switch allows users to conveniently adjust the podium to their preferred height, making it suitable for both tall and short users and for seated or standing positions.
The large work surface is designed to support monitors, laptops, room control systems, and other presentation equipment, with a substantial 400 lb weight capacity. The top is constructed with durable laminate and is available in a variety of finishes, while the body features a grey metal construction for a professional and functional appearance.
For integrated equipment storage, the PDYZ38 can accommodate optional 12U or 21U mobile rack units positioned on either the right or left side of the podium. Grommets are provided on the rack units to allow cables to pass through a wire loom, helping maintain organized connectivity and equipment installation.
The PDYZ38 can be configured with a wide range of AV accessories, including monitor mounts, power and data panels, microphones, presentation lighting, wireless charging, and custom electronics cutouts. Its combination of accessibility, height adjustability, high weight capacity, and flexible rack storage makes it a practical solution for modern instructional and presentation environments.
AVFI Custom Electronics Cutout Service
Installation of electronics in AVFI furniture may require a custom cutout. AVFI charges a one-time $100 custom cut fee per furniture unit, regardless of the number of electronic cutouts required.
